Wow, I haven't posted anything to this blog since January. Now it's April and I am stuck on the same thing I was stuck on then -- I'm not sure how to lay out the backyard since removing the fence that lies mid way between the house and the fence by the stream.
My goals remain the same. My plant list is essentially the same. I just don't know how to arrange it all. Maybe I should call a professional designer and have them help me with some ideas?
For now, I've asked Moe to replace the cover crop with clover everywhere and keep the weeds in check.
On the bright side, I saw Golden-crowned Kinglets for the first time yesterday. They were playing on our Liquid Amber tree. So cute!
